What the badges, tags, and terms mean throughout the app

Persistent Gap Status Tags

These badges appear on the Insights tab and track a feature gap's reliability across multiple analysis runs over time — not just the current run.

Tag Meaning
Active Confirmed in your most recent analysis run. The standard state for a gap currently considered real and current.
🔄 Recurring Independently confirmed across 3 or more separate runs. A stronger, more reliable signal than Active — not a one-off detection.
⚠️ Unconfirmed Hasn't shown up in the last 3 runs. May mean the competitor changed their site, the page failed to scrape, or the original detection wasn't accurate. Worth verifying before acting on it.
Note: None of these statuses mean a gap is resolved. Gaps stay visible until you manually mark them as Implemented, Not Applicable, or Dismissed using the Resolve dropdown.
Data Source Badges

Shown on each competitor card in the Overview tab, indicating where the analysis information came from.

Badge Meaning
● Live data The competitor's website was successfully visited and scraped during this analysis run. Information reflects what's currently on their site.
● AI analysis The website couldn't be scraped (bot protection, timeout, or other failure), so the analysis relies on the AI's general training knowledge instead. May be less current.
Confidence Score

A 1–5 rating shown on competitor cards and pricing extractions, reflecting how certain the AI is about the accuracy of that specific piece of information. Higher scores generally mean the information was clearly stated on the scraped page; lower scores mean it was inferred or partially unclear.

Product Type Badges

Some competitors aren't standalone products — they might be one feature within a larger platform. These badges and notes help you interpret pricing and comparisons correctly.

Badge Meaning
(no badge) Standalone — a dedicated product built specifically for this use case.
Suite feature One capability within a broader platform — pricing shown is for the full platform, not just this feature.
Plugin Requires another platform to run (e.g. a WordPress plugin) — pricing may not include the cost of the base platform.
Enterprise suite Part of a large enterprise package where this is a minor module among many.
Plans & Limits

Free and Pro plans have different limits on products, runs, competitors per run, and feature access.

What Counts as a Run

A run is one complete competitor analysis for one of your products — it counts against your monthly limit the moment you start it, regardless of whether you later delete the results. Run limits reset on the 1st of every calendar month.
